Storyline:

Storyline:
Picket Fences deals with life in a small town – in this case the town of Rome, Wisconsin; it centers around the Brock Family. Jimmy Brock is the Sheriff of the town and likes to think he’s the center of attention. His wife Jill is the town doctor; they have three children: Kimberly, 18, Matthew, 13 and Zachary, 10. A lot happens in this small town from bizarre murders to rape, assault, drunk driving, kidnapping & spontaneous human combustion. It seems that all the crimes that have occurred in the whole of the United States have at one point or another happened in Rome and they have to deal with it in their own quirky way.

Storyline:
In this Baywatch spin-off, Mitch Buchannon, the always reliable Los Angeles county lifeguard, moonlights as a private detective alongside his beach cop buddy Garner and a female N.Y. private dick named Ryan McBride. They investigate and solve crimes together, often in some way related to Mitch’s beloved beach. Luckily, they’re usually not alone in this fight, as their frequent associates include cute psychic, Destiny Desimone, Mitch’s lifeguard colleague, Donna Marco, and Lou Raymond, a legendary musician who owns the nightclub called ‘Nights’ where the trio’s detective agency is located. However, in season 2, the show gets a serious overhaul as Mitch’s cases suddenly start to exclusively involve supernatural horror and his enemies become actual demons, ghosts, monsters and other supernatural phenomena. He faces these otherworldly foes together with Ryan, as their relationship becomes more platonic in nature (mimicking that of Mulder and Scully), and Diamont Teague, Garner’s replacement for this season.

Storyline:
This flashy cop series is all about the bicycle patrol of the Santa Monica Police Department, in which the officers and their flashy equipment are as young and casual as their work area, mainly the beach, and as agile and well-trained on their bikes as traditional mounted police on horseback. The bulk of their work is prevention and petty crime, such as pickpockets and purse-snatchers, but of course the more spectacular atypical cases, often one-offs, sometimes even involving the FBI, get extra attention. No less attention is paid to the relationships between all these hotshots (some change during the series), young and ambitious, sexy and horny, so there’s lots of temptation, amorous and professional rivalry, conflicting personal and professional interests. Of course this causes most worries for their commanding Lieutenant, usually the one who has to deal with the regular hierarchy above him, originally Anthony Palermo, later on the very former rookie who long gave him most cause for concern, Terence “T.C.” Callaway.
