Storyline:
Barnaby Jones was a former private eye who temporarily came out of retirement to track down the killer of his son Hal, who had taken over the family business. After bringing Hal’s murderer to justice (with the assistance of fellow CBS gumshoe Frank Cannon), Jones decided retirement just wasn’t his bag after all, and rehung his shingle with the assistance of daughter-in-law Betty, who ran the office and Barnaby’s personal crime laboratory, and (later) young distant cousin Jedidiah, who did the cases’ legwork.

Storyline:
The British detective drama revolves around DCI Barnaby’s efforts to solve numerous murders that take place in the fictional English county of Midsomer. The current lead character is DCI John Barnaby, who is the younger cousin of former lead character DCI Tom Barnaby. The Barnabys have worked with several different sergeants throughout the run of the show, including Sgt Gavin Troy, Sgt Dan Scott, Sgt Ben Jones, Sgt Charlie Nelson and Sgt Jamie Winter.

Storyline:

Storyline:

With better escorts of the destroyer class, however, German U-boats have begun to take heavy losses. “Das Boot” is the story of the crew of one such U-Boat, with the film examining how these submariners maintained their professionalism as soldiers and attempted to accomplish impossible missions, all the while attempting to understand and obey the ideology of the government under which they served.
